Over the past couple months I've replaced everything on the front end, and it was nice and tight. A few days ago I started getting a noise and feeling something loose only when either the left or the right tire falls into a rut or a pothole. When the tires hit a bump its fine, it's only when it drops down, is when you can feel it in the wheel. Doesn't matter which tire drops down, the knock will happen. So it seems like its one thing, transmitting across the whole front end. Every day it seems to get louder and looser.
I've put a wrench on every nut and everything is tight.
Anyone have any clues?

That was my first thought too, but I replaced the end links and the bushings, and double checked them again the other day.
It's not a light thunk either, imagine if the bottom bolt of the strut was loose, that's the kind of noise and feeling I'm getting.

Pick up on either the driver or passenger side fenderwell and rock the truck to see if you can duplicate the sound. I was having that issue and had just replaced the sway bar end link bushing a few months prior, which were nice and tight, but they had worn out prematurely.

I've been chasing the same noise for over a year with no luck. One thing I have noticed is that if I lift a side and yank it hard left and right it will have some play and some noise however hard to tell if its the same noise. I've had the putter tie rods replaced and was told inners were in tact. I'm wondering if this may be symptoms of a bad rack.

I don't know what's going on, but I spent two hours checking every damn part on my front end yesterday, and rocked the truck as hard as I could. I got in it and sure enough it was worse than ever.
Now I'm getting nervous about driving it, especially since I have to get on the highway. Guess I'll have to wait and put it up on a lift.
The strangest thing is it feels the same on both sides, like my struts don't have the nuts on the top tightened.
