Default Failed Emissions - HELP NEEDED!

Just took my truck in for the super awesome emissions test and it failed. 4 parts of the OBD2 test failed. The truck hasn't had any check engine lights the entire time I owned it, the last time the battery was unhooked was over a year ago, it is driven daily. In fact, I drove it 300 miles home from college yesterday. The diagnostic said these four things failed to provide a reading:

Catalyst Monitor - Incomplete
Evaporative System Monitor - Incomplete
Oxygen Sensor Monitor - Incomplete
Oxygen Sensor Heat Monitor - Incomplete

It is also not throwing ANY codes whatsoever, hooked the reader up to it and it doesn't have any current codes or pending codes. Truck is completely stock.

Has anyone else had this issue? My mechanic (ASE Ford) said he has never seen this before with a vehicle that hasn't had recent issues or the battery unhooked recently. Truck has just under 113k on it. It's a 2005 FX4 with the 5.4

Most states have laws which require you to spend X amount to try and fix an emission related issue, and you get a pass until it's fixed, dunno about VA.

With readings like that and no CEL, id' be highly suspicious of the PCM, but if the PCM itself is bad (not setting monitors, losing Keep alive memory, etc) it's supposed to throw a code itself.

Very odd, might be worth a quick run to a stealership to hook up to a Ford computter.

This happened to me last month when I tried to get mine inspected. I had the exact same codes. I unhooked the battery for a few minutes and then I drove the truck for 50 miles. When I went back it passed without a problem.

The last time I had emission testing done the guy said that the mfg warranted the emissions for either 5 or 10 years. I'd look into that..
