Before i buy these emblems will the 2011 f150 emblem off of the tailgate fit directly into the holes for my 2004 tailgate? And same for the f150 emblems on the fenders?

 

The fender emblems will match up with the existing holes. I have heard that not all tailgate emblems match up perfectly, but can be easily be modified to work.
I learned this by searching and reading all the other threads asking the same question and plan on doing the mod myself in the near future.

 

If I remember correctly, you have to file down / remove one of the pins for the tailgate that is.

 

x2 use the double sided adhesive.

 

The tailgate emblem from the step side model requires no modification from what others have said. I just put the new emblems on my truck and just took some 80 grit sandpaper to the tail emblem to level it out. Also had to cut the pins off of it completely and just used emblem adhesive I picked up from an auto parts store.

Hes only got 1 f150 in and the fenders are already gone so he only has the tailgate emblem

 

Just did my emblems a few weeks ago..... fenders match up perfectly. Tailgate I had to cut off the tabs and sand down the whole emblem to make it flat.
