Hey guys, just wondering what brand of engine oil everyone uses? I'm looking for a good quality oil that will help clean my internals. I bought my 04 used and have no previous history so I'm want to start helping it last longer.

The place I like for changes runs valvoline. But I'm not tied to anything.

 

i use motorcraft syn blend 5W-30

 

Oh yeah I forgot to mention I think I'm gonna go to a 5w-30 or 40

 

I hear pennzoil (sp?) full synthetic is awesome.... I want to start running full syn but my last oil change was "free" when I purchased my new wheels/tires/brakes/rotors and they used regular 5w20 dino oil. I am more than likely making the switch my next oil change to the Penn 5W30 fully synthetic oil.

Yup 5.4

 

i wouldnt go any thicker than 5w-30

 

Last change - Royal Purple 5w-30
Now - Mobil 1 5w-30

 

I used to use royal purple then I used Mobil and I won't ever go back to neither after reading bob is the oil guy oil analysis rotella or valvoline for me ...

 

Which valvoline are you using?
