My 2007 calls for 5w-20 and will never use a 30 wt oil, especially with winter coming on. There is a reason newer cars are using 0w-20 oil, better protection at start up ,where 90% of the wear occurs. I use a synthetic 5w-20 at 5-6k intervals. I use any premium filter thats has the wire backed media, NAPA Platinum, Mobil 1, I never used Fram until they came out with the Ultra wire backed filter.

I bought a stash of NAPA full synthetic 5w-20 oil for $3.25 per Qt. I'll use that next, right now I've got motocraft full syn in it.

I'm gonna check this filter out on my next oil change.... How much are they??

The chart seems to show that the motorcraft filter is not bad choice either... Good to know...

I use Amsoil, I used to use valvoline full synthetic. Now I use Amsoils full synthetic. I can tell a big difference. Its a a 25,000 mile oil change interval. If you have any questions I'm a dealer so just email me. jmp8186@gmail.com

The reason I use the Amsoil XL is because I don't drive 25k a year and Amsoil recommends changing the Signature Series once a year. Going with XL saves me a dollar plus per qt. on my once a year oil change

So pennzoil platinum was on sale for 1/2 price at Walmart. So I grabbed a couple jugs. I'm going to try it for now. Hopefully get some Kreen in sometime to help ensure its clean.

Edit: 5w-30.

Either 5w30 Mobil 1 or Quaker State - using QS now. I have some Redline 5w30 that will be used for the next oil change though.
