Default go ahead about catch cans

I was debating myself over catch cans . I don't know the downside . I felt guilty about not putting in the effort to help clean up the intake . I always have too much to do anyway .My thought was to have two and change them periodically for intense cleaning .Intake is already filthy if I had it off and cleaned it I would really feel guilty .I cleaned out driver side valve cover when I did timing, baffle and all . I should clean out hoses to TB . Coming up on 198k mi. How I envy those 300k mi guys and never touched it ---never me .
