what kind of noise does it make when you try to start it? does it crank at all or do you get nothing?

have you checked to make sure the new battery is putting out 12.6v? or atleast close to it?

i know the battery is brand new but did you check the voltage? you could have a parasitic load.
have you done any electrical installs recently?

yea check all terminals on starter to make sure they arent corroded or broken/loose.

i didnt think starter at first. you said it starts if you get a jump from someone. have you checked the battery voltage when the truck dont start? something could be draining the battery (parasitic load)

have you done any recent electrical work lately?

I'm having the same issue with my 1994 F150. I have checked wires, fuses, and can't find the problem. I have a plow connected to this truck. I disconnected the plow, charged up the new battery and nothing the next day. I charged it again and I disconnected positive and negative terminals. The only thing I think it may be are the air bags cause I have it flashing on the console and the warning sound goes of. I like to unhook it for good but I'm not sure how. Some trucks has a shut of for the air bags and maybe you can too. I had a 2001 Chevy that caused it before but I had no warning signs. I was able to shut it of with a turn of a switch. My battery would be dead after a day until I tried this. Hope this helps.
