OK so if I were running 87 I shouldn't adjust the timing?

 

According to edge you can run +0.5 timing on 87 fuel and go up .5 for each grade above that.

+1.0 for 89
+1.5 for 91
+2.0 for 93

 

OK so I have it right. I just want the best setup for the best mpg in stop and go traffic.

 

Went to Best Buy to buy A universal windshield GPS phone navigation mount. They were $40 too rich for my blood. Then I went to Walmart and found this for $10. Still have to some fab work to the mount but way easier to update.

 

Nice I got mine with a dash pod but if i didn't id do wat ur doing . Looks nice and it's cheap just how I like it lol

 

How is the massive cable going to be ran? I considered a mount like that, but the issue of the cable kept me from it.

 

I also have a dash pod. The reason I took that off because of the dash mat always liked the windshield mount and it has no glue or Velcro it uses tiny suction cups. As far as the cable that cable is no that big I have it mounted down the side then tucks into the pillar still can see it but it's minimal just had it my head. Cause to be honest I hate that dash pod looks like throw back to 80's. I will post the factory spec of vehicle parameters from the master techs book later this week so we know exactly what the alerts should be.

Any good settings for better gas mileage on a 4.6? I used one of the previous settings and didn't see much of a difference compared to the tow setting.

 

stage one on the evo is factory setting with only trams tune so in accutaley that's tow mode, in my mind and stage 2 from evo is two mode, but again I think it's supposed to be perfomence and you have stage 3 which is performance. I think that's the hot program cause it pushes that motor close to edge of its limits. That's my opinion I just replaced my throttle body only a couple of weeks after my cai and evo not say that what caused it to go out but found a week spot in it and finished. But
I couldn't get the exact reason it went out, had to clear the code to get to the shop. I have seen a increase on fuel economy if I drove in total moderation other wise than Thant drive it like you stole it rembered that 5,4 loves drinking that gas 4.6 should do very well so again could talk about for hours but I found maintance will help a lot of the time
