Default edge programmer. hate the throttle now.

Put a edge programmer on my truck and everytime you touch the throttle it spins gravel and I can't drive Down the drive way without it revving up on every bump. Its kind of annoying. I thought I would be ok with it but now im tired of it. I can take it off and the throttle is back to normal.. Is there any way to keep the throttle response normal?

Lmao I wish I had that problem! My truck is a DOG. I would assume you could change settings to maybe a fuel economy mode and it will not give you as much power

Its not powerful, its just you barely touch the throttle and it acts like your flooring it. Its almost like the edge makes it at 5% throttle tell the computer its 75%. Very aggravating. Makes it difficult to drive. Its like your flooring it everytime you touch the throttle. Im tired of hearing my girlfriend rev it up and down to get on highway lol

Sounds like maybe its adjusting the WOT or something. Maybe you can put a limiter on it. I personally don't have an edge yet so I haven't messed with them. I just read about them lol you could always get it tuned

Try the following:

- Insert key and turn to on position without starting.
- slowly but steady press the throttle to the floor
- rapidly remove foot from throttle and turn off car
- repeat 2-3 times

The edge shouldn't be doing that. Never had a problem with mine like that. Reset to stock, take it off and see if it goes away. If it does contact Edge to see why this might be happening. Sounds like a safety issue to me
