What level tune are you running? My edge doesn't do that unless I put it on level 3. Just setting it to level 1 or 2 shouldn't make much of a difference especially level 1.

With my 04 4.6 it made the throttle quite a bit more responsive and I could see where you could be spinning the tires in gravel. There is a bit of a learning curve. I know I barely touch the pedal going down my driveway anymore. It makes driving the truck a lot more enjoyable tho and not a dog as when I first purchased it.

EDIT: I use Level 2 on mine as well.

X2 you just need to reset the drive-by-wire throttle...

If you want your truck to respond like a geriatric sedan, why exactly did you buy & install the Edge? Is this a joke post?

......pretty much what I'm trying to get at is when I barely press the throttle, very lightly, the truck acts like I put it to the floor.... Like there is no difference between 1/4 throttle and wot. Not that it has too much power at all. Its guttless no doubt. Just seems there is no difference between 1/16 throttle and full throttle. Way too touchy not wayy too much power

Like a normal vehicle. when you drive down a bumpy road and you are barely giving it Throttle.. Mine revs up on every bump which is annoying. There is no easing of throttle at all... Its like all or nothing . Its super extra extremely sensitive and takes a skilled professional who works out his right leg to work the throttle. ... So no this post is not a joke

I had this happen when I was on Level 3 with my Evolution. It took a while to get used to, and it also caused me to fishtail making a left turn at an intersection with wet roads (partially due to crappy tires). I can relate to all the mini revs which can get super annoying because you can't do much about it except let off the gas. I got used to it eventually, but now I'm back on the stock tune.
It's weird that you're having this issue on Level 2 though.

Try turning on the throttle position gauge on the Edge and see what it says while you're accelerating. Mine rarely goes over 30% in normal street driving. Freeways go up to 50%. If you have adjustable pedals, you might move them towards the firewall, too. That should make you apply a bit more foot pressure. And last, is there a spring in the pedal that can wear out?

I've gotten used to it for the most part but some times it gets old. I get tired of hearing my girlfriend try to drive it in the mornings lol and the guys at our ford service give me crap about it ,which I work for the same company. The truck only has 50k Miles. I appreciate the positive comments every one has left. thanks
