Default Edge evolution chip question

Hey guys sorry to beat a dead horse but I have a edge chip question I just installed it and absolutely love it but when I punch it in first gear and hold it till it shifts into second it shifts noticeably harder is this ok? And or can I adjust it in the chip? If so how can I do this I bought the chip used with no manual. thanks everyone for your help

It's ok as far as I know and if you select custom tuning you and adjust the shift pressure along with other settings

Also if you just installed it, the ECU is still adjusting the adaptive learning for the new PCM flash so let things settle down before making changes.

So after a week of driving if it still shifts firm can I change the firmness? Or not a good idea

Yep. Just go through and reload the tune as a Edge custom option tune and adjust the firmness. Changing between tunes isn't an issue, that's what it's made to do, just know every time you flash the PCM it has to go through and relearn on the adaptive side.
