Just start doing little adjustments and adjust one thing at a time. Of course you could go fully custom to the Gryphon and take it to exactly what you want but that's another discussion.

Well I am getting it converted n a custom tune from PHP but for now I want it to be a little smoother, but as I am driving it a little more it has gotten smoother. Should I just wait a week before I mess with anything?

Just do a full drive cycle (usually around 100 miles of mixed driving) and see how it ends up. Once the adaptive stops the major changes it settles in, then you truly know what you have.

It won't be slower, but will be different. The response "feel" might lose a little just because the a/f settles into the 14.6-.7 that it should. Many feel like it "detunes" after a while, but that's usually because it doesn't have a rich a/f like when it is still learning. There's also the butt dyno factor that makes people think it's faster right after it's tuned. The power will still be there, things will just settle in. If you don't like it after some time knock it back a little.

I dont think exhaust matters for Bill at PHP as long as it is catback. If it is catback i dont think he really cares or it doesnt make a difference for him making a custom tune. Someone told me this that talked to Bill and was going to change their exhaust and Bill said it didnt matter. Could be a lie, but it is what I was told happened to another member.
