is level two only for towing? thats what its actually called, "towing". i don't want to screw anything up. I only run 87 so i assume it would be ok. before i purchase i just want to make sure that "level 2" ok for daily driving and not just for towing, i emailed edge and they didn't respond. im looking for mainly responsiveness..... and the little mpg gains.

Yes it's okay for DD in fact that is commonly what people use it for because you will see mpg gains and HP/TQ gains! Level 1 you will see no power gains which is the main reason people stick to level 2

Not sure what you mean by "it and a chip" the edge is itself a chip and will program your PCM and ECM. New it's $350 so if he asked $200-225 that would be fair for used I would say.

As long as the precious owner set his truck back to stock you're fine.

I love my Evo but do NOT buy it simply for improved fuel economy. It will take you 4+ years just to break even on the investment if you do.
