Depends upon CAI as well. I ran mine on "2" while I waited for power hungry performance to write my scrips. I have k&n CAI. Bill said "2" should be fine for a little while.

I just got my tunes a few days ago. I got a 87 octane mileage tune along w a trans tune and 87 octane towing tune.

So what u r saying is that the edge won't work if I have a K&N intake in my truck?

It just depends. The 04-05 tend to run a little lean from the factory so a tune and cai can exasperate it a little. Custom tunes solve the issue though.

I run a Ram Air hood with K&N filter and edge evolution and I'm not lean.
