Default Driver side door bouncing

live in MN and we have bumpy roads.
I am hearing an audible shaking of the driver side door when hitting a road buckle or rough patch as if the door is not fully closed.

Anyone experience this and and know what to look at?
My thought is that the door liner doesn’t have as much cushion as it used to. But is there something I should be looking for in the hinges or the latch?

You are probably missing the rubber door bumper that looks like this it goes on the middle part of the door on the jam

Even if you still have the rubber door bumpers, they are likely mushroomed so much they are ineffective. Easy and inexpensive replacement.

Had the exact same issue, replaced the little rubber bumpers and all went silent.

It worked. It was those little bumpers. Will order (pulled one off the back door in the meantime so it doesn’t annoy me so much).

Default THANKS Fordmaster302

THANKS Fordmaster302. I ordered these rubber bumpers and they came in today. Mine were no where near the same. Here's a comparison picture of what came out of my door (left side of pic) and the new ones (on the right). Door seems to really close tight now. Thanks again!

Joe,

The cone shaped ones are what I have for the rear doors. The round ones are what I have in my front doors. I have not measured the height of the bumpers to see if there is a difference. Glad to hear they close tight. Hope they keep it quiet as well.
