Default Bug Deflector?

Do they do anything? For some reason I rarely see them now-a-days.

I have the AVS Bugflector II on my truck. I actually like them. I felt the front end looked a little plain, but didn't want to put a bumper or grill guard on, so I went with the AVS. For 30 bucks, I think it looks nice. FYI, I'm 28 LOL

I couldn't judge the front end of the truck well when I first got. Put the deflector on and it helped me tell where the front end ended

I had one on my 08. Its deflection capabilities were questionable at best, so I ditched it.

Came on the truck and haven't taken off. Is there a way to tell if it's OEM? Don't see any part #s.

IIRC, the OEM ones say "F150" on the right side.
BTW AVS is the OE manufacturer for Ford.
