Yes... with a regular liner, water can get under it and rot out your bed. With Rino liner, this won't happen. Adds some value to your truck too.

If you have the option, I'd Line-X it over Rhino. Line-X has military contracts and just looks a little better IMO.

Never heard of Line-X... Might have to check it out. Is that what you have on your truck?

yeah, tough stuff. I haul a ton of lobster traps on a regular basis in the bed and on my trailer...you'd never know in the bed...trailer, well that's another story.

if you haul stuff then get it spray lined. if you chose not to then at least take the plastic liner out of the bed to prevent water getting trapped under the liner and rotting your bed

Line-X.

My brother has a rubber mat in his '01 D150 and theres holes in the bed from water being trapped under it. Its a Ford mat and has probably been in there since the truck was new.

Ive got a plastic bed liner and its fine for me. It came with the truck.

Be careful, water can get trapped under the plastic liner as well and rust it out...some have, some haven't

I had to take out my bedliner because the ladder racks I have wouldnt mount properly with the liner. Right know I'm going "naked" in the bed.
Figure the bed needs to be scuffed up before the Rino or LineX liner so I'll let it go for the winter and look into getting it lined in the spring.

Had a good idea for the bedliner I took out. Going to make 2x4 supports for the 3 sides and fill the liner with sand and make a sand box for my son. On the open side I'll make a small seat the length of the liner so he can sit.
Damn, I think I just one up'd a redneck with this idea.

The professional shops use a grinder with a wire brush to remove the clear coat top layer.
