The other day I saw a short wheel base f150 (normally for reg cab 6.5 foot bed). This one had a supercab and a 5.5 foot bed on the short wheel base. It looked really... messed up. Was that something you could order? Anybody else seen any weird bed and cab configurations? I don't know much about the newer trucks, so I hope that's not a dumb question!

 

they arent all that common but you will see one every so often, couple guys on here have them. I kind of like the way they look as long as they arent lifted. stock height i like.

 

The one I saw looked like it had a leveling kit, and it's rear end was sagging pretty bad. Made the bed look even smaller than it actually was.

 

My cuz has the super cab short bed, weird looking me thinks. There is one other in town but thats it.

 

They did away with the SuperCab + 5.5' box configuration after 2009 (or was it 2010...), except the Raptors automatically come with 5.5' bed whether scab or screw. Personally I like the looks of scabs with 6.5' and screws with 5.5' but that's just my taste

 

I absolutely hate the look of a Supercab with a 5.5' bed. They look stupid and not proportional.

 

I like the looks of a regular cab short bed. I think it just looks tougher with bigger tires. I'm also biased because that's what I have.

 

i think the scabs with 5.5 foot beds look nice
