Default Back to stock

Is it possible to go back to stock from a 6in lift having cut some? Do they sell a kit for the stock suspension?

Sure it's possible. Might need to do a little welding. Not sure I've seen a kit. I kept all my factory parts. Why are you doing this?

for the price and trouble of converting back to stock, id rather buy a somewhat cheap car for commuting.

Dropping down to 35's would help. Do you have a body-lift on there as well?

well to me a gain of 4-5 MPG wont justify the work and money in lowering it back to stock. right now it will catch some attention on the streets and be there when needed off road. a car will be nice for the MPG and road trips.

only thing i can tell you about going back to stock is i dont think they sell "kits" you would have to go buy all the stock sized brackets and whatever else there is to replace the extended ones.

Remove the BL and keep your 6" lift and the move down to 35's. Probably won't make a huge difference but your tires will be much lighter and you'll get some of your MPG's back. Plus 35's cost a good bit less then 37's.

Then again, I have a 6" lift w/ 35's and only get 10-12 MPG's. These trucks are just too big to be fuel efficient. Since I work from home I don't put huge amounts of miles being put on my truck weekly. If I had to drive as much as my wife does, we'd be broke. We've had her Honda Pilot for a year and a half and she's got over 36K on it. I've put 5k on my 07 scab since I bought it in February.

If I had to commute to work daily, I'd find me a well used inexpensive car that is good on gas. I wouldn't care what it looked like as long as it started every morning.
