B1360 Code - No CEL
So I bought a 2006 F150 stx reg cab with the 4.6l motor with 90k miles on it a few weeks ago. It was in really good condition and I couldn't pass the deal up. All in all, I love this truck. However at idle the truck is a bit rough. No check engine light, but a bit rough non the less. So I hooked up my obd2 torque app and I see I have anywhere between 6 and 60 total counted misfires, but none detected by individual cylinder. So I ran a scan and have a B1360 code without the CEL on. So I changed the plugs and coil packs and cleaned the k&n filer (non cold air filter, just a replacement k&n) and I still have all the symptoms and the b136p code. So I Google the b1360 code and there's very little on it. Basically says open circuit ignition. Any ideas? Thank you.
B1360 would not have anything to do with the plugs or coils I wouldn't think. I would check all your fuses, particularly the ones pertaining to ignition. Then maybe check the PCM relay. As for the 60 some misfires, did you run the live data to check for misfires or going by the ones on the dashboard as they wont read.

Yup that is how to find them. Run the TEST RESULTS and let it go all the way through the scan. My misfires don't usually show a result until about 75% complete scan. This is the only way I have found to check misfires on Torque. The "live data" misfire counts don't work on the dashboards.

If you look at the test result though it shows you're currently below the minimum value. I believe that may be your problem how ever I know nothing about the EGR system so someone else can chime in there.
So no misses during the test? If no misses were found then the truck is not missing. Rough idle could also be due to phaser problems. Also what brand of plugs did you use?
