Default Another BS question

By BS I mean back spacing. I have a 2004 FX4 with a 6" fabtec lift and I want to swap out my 22" moto metals for some 17" wheels but can't figure out if the 5.04" back spacing and 6mm offset will be a issue or not. Im looking for a wheel that will give me the least amount of rubbing turned to full lock and under full compression, my tires will be 12.5" wide. can anyone help?

Size: 17x8.5
Offset: 6mm
Backspacing: 5.04"
Bolt Pattern: 6-135
Weight: 24.8lbs.
Finish: Black w/Mach Lip

No one? I did a forum search and google search and there is much info about backspacing but nothing about a 6" suspension lift and the best backspacing/offset to keep rubbing to a minimum. Any help, I want to buy these wheels tomorrow and get that 22" chrome crap off my truck.

Is more backspacing better to avoid rubbing, I was also looking at some wheels that have 6" of backspacing....

Someone tell me if I have this right,

the more back spacing the more the tire will be tucked inside the fender, thus less back spacing will stick the tire closer to or out of the fender all together?

The wheels I'm looking at come in a 5" and 6.2" backspacing. Since I am going to be running 37X12.5 on a 6" suspension lift and as little spacer as possible, I should go with the 5" wheel to avoid as much rubbing as possible, right?

Go with the 5" bs wheel. The more bs, the more it is tucked in and the more it will rub. The less bs, the more it sticks out and less it will rub. 5" bs will stick out about 1.5" past the fender.

Yes going from 3.73's to 4.56's. I wanted to do a set of 4.88's but I don't do a lot of towing and I was told that 4.88's would kill the MPG to somewhere near 10-11mpg highway.

By the way I'm moving to Hampton Roads, VA in two months....
