Techrep- the less bs, the more the tire sticks out. Thats why alot of people who try to fit big tires with a little lift often go with 4.5" or 5" of bs. It makes the tire stick out more, so less chance it will rub on suspension components.

The more backspacing you have the less your wheels will stick out. So a wheel will stick out more with 4.5" of BS compared to 6" of BS. I looked at Fabtech's website and it looks like they call for 5" of BS. Personally, I would call Fabtech and get a answer from them before buying your wheels. I don't think the 6.14 will work. I could be wrong.

The same wheel is offered in a 5" backspacing, I'm just trying to get as much of my 37X12.50 in the wheel wells with as little rubbing/additional lift beyond the 6" fabtech I already have.

I would say 5" would work but 4.5" might be better. Like I said, call the peeps with the answer. Do you plan on fitting 37's with only a 6" lift kit?

Only temporarily. If math services me correctly I should be fine driving on the street and doing some minor trimming, no?

I'm in a tough spot with divorce, transferring duty stations within the Air Force, blah blah blah, life happens. I have always wanted a truck on 37" and have the money for new wheels and tires but being between homes right now I don't have the time to plan out the needed lift in the rear with new leaf springs and brackets to retain my pro comp traction bars issues of pinion angle, drive shaft length and so on.

Why not save the money until you do it right and regear as well?

I'm ordering gears on the same day I order new wheels and tires.
