I routed mine from the battery, across the back of the engine compartmant, to an unused gromet by somewhere above the steering column, behind the radio, behind the glovebox, behind the kickpanel, under the door jam and out the back seat where the rear seat belt bolts to the frame. the only spot you could see it was where it came out the seat belt so i just put a 2" black cover on it and now it looks like part of the truck. Totally invisible to guests.

i ran my power through the unused grommet by the steering column as well. i have one amp under the front passenger seat ran it along the door jam then fished it under the carpet to the hole in the carpet by the heat vent under the seat. then my other amp is under the back seat mounted to the floor ran those in the passenger door jam then fished them under the carpet to a hole i cut in the carpet next to the amp.

I ran mine also down the passenger side, under the flooring and cut a small slit in the rubber and it comes up right where my jack mounted under my back seat, that's where I mounted my amp. The jack is now in my tool box.

There's a grommet right next to the battery on my 06, they're supposed to be the same model, but they might be different, i'm going to go get some pictures for you.

I couldnt find the hole near the battery so i ran it by the column. I have 1 10" and the box stops about 10" from my Jack. I mounted the amp in the space between the box and the amp. It fits perfectly.

These are the pictures of the grommet location, i have 8 gauge wire running through it, in a few weeks im going to run 4 gauge wire through it also, all i did to fit the wire through was cut a little notch out of the rubber grommet, it was pretty simple.

Location:
• Passenger side of the cab.
• Once you open the hood, if your battery is on the left side, it should be between the battery and the firewall.

To Access:
1.) Remove Battery
2.) There are 4 bolts holding the battery mount in, remove all 4.
3.) Move battery mount out of the way.
4.) You should see the grommet on the passenger side of the firewall, so if you're looking at the firewall from the open hood it should be right by the battery.

Pictures:

1.) Where the grommet is once you pop the hood.
2.) Where the grommet is once you remove the battery.
3.) What the grommet looks like with 8 gauge wire running through it.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.
