4wd rotors cant be that expensive.

I would imagine the calipers on yours should work on these no problem if the rotors are the same diameter and width.

Possibly...I just dont know how much time/money you are gunna spend or how mechanically inclined you are. 400 bucks for all that and then some more to get it on your truck is still cheaper then getting a brand new kit from say Fabtech.

I dont know if you are on a computer (pictures are bigger), but in the picture Twitty put up you can see daylight under the front crossmember and pro comps doesnt have holes in theres up front like that in the crossmember.

I dont care who is right or wrong, I just dont think thats a pro comp at all. haha. Whatever, I hope that you can make this kit fit though. That would be pretty sweet and im sure people will use this in the future.

Jerhelo, hows the ride now with the 3" body lift? Any different?
I can't get it to enlarge on my Macbook but the front drop plate looks flat on my computer, I was also judging by the knuckles and swaybar extension brackets, it looks like a procomp on my computer, but you might be right.

Regardless I think you will have a problem with fitment, the geometry is completely different between the 4x4 and 4x2 and I am not sure how the 2wd knuckle will adapt onto the 4x4, I believe that Ford has kept most of the parts interchangeable but I am also sure that the steering rack and a few other things are going to give you a hard time...If you were local I would help you try to make it fit but again I think you will have some unforseen problems such as alignment issues as well.

As far My ride 06f150, it is not bad, I really like it the way it sits, 11" of lift is enough and the 37's fit great with the set up. RIV Customs has been taunting me to go bigger, I am very interested in the 12" ballistic set up but if I am going any larger with this truck I will more than likely go SAS again.

To be honest with you though I really want to sell the truck so I am not going to add or change anything for a while just to see if I am going to keep it, really want a 1 ton again.

If you posted some better pictures so that we could actually tell you who actually makes the lift I would tell you who to call. Seriously on my computer the front cross member looks flat and the other parts look like pro comp, not sure from your photo.

But if you think you can handle those factors, then go ahead and get the lift man!
These f150's are extremely easy to lift, I did not even have to open the manual other than to figure out the rack washer spacing and the crossmember trimming....Took me a day to install in my garage with hand tools, NO AIR tools...Don't let it intimidate you.....

You have to have the CV shaft installed and the nut tightened to the correct torque, otherwise the outer unit bearing will completely come apart before you get out of the driveway, the CV shaft axle holds it together.

I would imagine that you could cut everything off of the half shaft behind the outer half shaft and just install the nub axle in the front actuator hub and unit bearing. I am not sure because I have never done this but it might work and then you could use the kit as is.

I am becoming more interested in this and I see that you are in fact sort of local, I might be able to give you a hand trying to fit it but can't guarantee that it will work without really looking at the differences....

I was wondering how that would work with the bearing assembly. Makes sense what you say though. I havent seen a 2wd knuckle/spindle so it makes it tough but there has to be something different. I think it is possible to do though. For 400 bucks it is worth a shot. haha.
