Wheel nut locks
Just bought a new F150 Screw in Razor red with the 20" Pirelli tires. After getting it home noticed no wheel locks on the truck. Any suggestions as to which is the best ones to buy for the vehicle. Should I go after market or Ford have good ones. Thanks for any info you may have.

Picked up a set from the A C Collins Ford dealership in Pasadena last night. They were around 60 with tax but didn't want to take a chance of the aftermarket ones damaging the wheel. They are about half the length of the original lug nut, not going to win any beauty contest, but as long as they work that's ok.

The lock set is actually made by Mcgard part #24024. You can find the same set on the net for about 25 to 30 dollars, about half the price of the dealer. Wish I had known before I bought mine. Hope this helps.
I think Ford sold you the wrong style. Those are listed as "Under Hub Cap Lock". Item #24205 "Cone Seat Lock" look like the closer match to the lugs.
It you still have the packaging, I would try to return those and blame them for giving you the wrong ones.
Thanks for all the info. Picked up a set from my dealer here in Trenton Ontario Canada and the they cost 74$ Cdn same set as SilverFx4 showed. They installed easily however as mentioned look quite different then other nuts. Thanks for all information.

I just purchased the exposed locks (6L3Z 1A043 AA) from the Ford dealer and they stick out about 1/2 inch from the other lugs. I have the 20" inch wheels on my Platinum and I cannot seem to find any that fit correctly.
Does anyone else have this issue?

I bought the Mcgard 24205 locks from Amazon for $25 after finding the exposed locks from Ford for $60. McGard makes them for Ford. The McGard 24205 is the same length as the factory lug luts just a little smaller in diameter. I have a Platinum with the exposed wheel lugs on the 20 Inch wheels.
I rotated my tires last weekend and found the factory lug nuts get nicked by the socket with a hand wrench more so than usual. The nut fells like it has a pressed on chrome sleeve over a regular nut and doesnt feel solid at the top. If so after a few loosening and tightenings the sleeve can come off. I guess I will find out how good they are as they get older.
