Just recieved my auxbeam 4 inch work lights to mount under the bumper today. Upon removing them from the box they looked pretty well constructed. The bracket being used to mount is pretty flimsy but I can't complain with them being only $18 a set. One of them I can tell the inside is a bit crooked, the other is fine. They do not come with a wire harness just a positive and negative wire coming out the back of the light for you to attach some sort of connector. The two wires seem kinda cheap considering I only had to use a fingernail to strip them. I ended up adding a set of deutch connectors on the ends to make it easier to wire them in. I don't plan on wiring them to a switch but just tying them into the reverse lights. Hopefully I'll have them wired in either tomorrow or Sunday and be able to report back the performance.

So I mounted and wired my auxbeams to my reverse light wiring but they only flash for a second then go out when I put my truck in reverse if my truck is running. If my truck is off and I turn the key to the on position to where u can cycle the shifter to reverse they work just fine. What could possibly be the problem

Default I used this, it worked great.

Jury is out as to how long it will last.
I put mine in permanently, put some tape around it to keep out water.

I can now see behind the truck in the dark.....marvelous concept, wonder why ford did not think of it.

I have the 7" ones on my truck wired directly to a switch. No issues with them yet, other then I still have to align them

Have you tried a different power source to see if the issue persists?

No. I'm wondering if I accidentally switched the power wire with the negative wire when I attached the deutch connectors

Same with everyone that is behind him in traffic. Everybody is so fearful that if they don't obscure their license plates someone on the internet will steal all of their info and max out their credit cards, etc.

I dint think he was trying to hide it, it's just the reflective material reacting to the flash. Lol
