And here's a OTRATTW/Carling switch schematic. (But Anyone can apply this info to their particular switch style):
I was checking out that other thread about these switch panels with great interest. Don't have enough extra stuff to warrant the added switches (yet) - but I really do like how you incorporated the illuminated switches.

Very clean install. Hats off.

Thanks they work great!!!

4 switch panels are also available with a choice of laser etched logo... or you can always install just 1 switch & then install blanks for any future add ons too.

It's a shame that there is really only so much that can be done with the reverse light bulbs in our taillights.
I really blame Ford for an overall poor design with not much of a reflector in our taillight assembly to shine better.

Yes they are.
It's not hard at all & actually quite easy!

I got the Phillips 921's. They are just ok. Better than stock, but still not nearly as bright as the brake lights. I guess I'll add the bumber lights.

The JDM 800's blow the Phillips 921 out the door for sure performance wise, IMHO, I returned my Phillips 921's and so far using the JDM 800's which seem to be better than most of what I tested so far.

Putting in the flush mount LED's in the bumper hopefully today and tapping into the wiring for the towing connection. Put on weather proof connections and soldered the connections and heat shrink so everything is ready. Just have to break out the angle grinder and cut into the bumper.

It's really not that hard. I drilled holes in the corner first, then I used an air cut off wheel on a die grinder... then I used a "burr bit" to clean up or clearance any tight spots.
I used por15 & coated it inside & out. Once dried I siliconed the perimeter & when bolting in the light, simply wipe off the access silicone that squeezes out.
I know some don't like the look, nor fear of cutting into the bumper... but it's one of my favorite mods!

Has anyone had a problem with the Philips 921's getting too hot and causing any damage?
