Awesome, you will like them but you will be overwhelmed by the options. Do I want Sasquatch lights, zombie lights, back-up lamps etc.... The rocker panel designs and colors are endless. haha

After having mine for almost 3 years they hold up very well and have not worn a single bit. They look exactly the same as the day I installed them for what its worth.

I like those switches also. I had a helluva time finding ones I wanted on amazon, some had to come from china. I'll have to use that sight next time I need more switches... good find.

For those of you running cubes mounted under your bumper, what wiring harness are you using?

Most harnesses don't look like they'd be long enough to reach from the rear bumper up to the cab.

My own I don't use factory harnesses as I don't like their switches, lengths, etc... so I make my own. It's really just 1 wire going from the engine bay to the lights (positive, the ground you use on the frame). Then I put in a relay, wire it to my own fuse block, then to my in-dash switches.

You can always extend the wire harness ya know... just add some wire to it (don't extend the fuse part though, that needs to be within 1' from your battery)

I went with the " value engineered" option.
Truly shocked how well they light up the night considering that it's just a bulb swap!
2 beams of pure white light for about 15-20 feet.

I unplugged my 7pin wiring harness and soldered the positive wires from the cube to the trailer reverse light wire and used the factory ground for the cube ground. Much easier to do all that on the work bench than laying on the ground under the truck.

I bought the Philips 921 White Vision LED back-up light 2 pack from Amazon. Just put them in last night, but they look a lot brighter. I wanted to try this before adding any additional light cubes, etc.

The real test will be backing into my parking space at work before dawn next week.

Well I swapped the wire from the trailer harness to the reverse light wire coming from the ds taillight. I still get the warning light to check the system when backing up.

I am going to check for a fuse and see of I blew it. I will also crawl under the truck and check the sensor wires.

Any other ideas?

Only fuse I saw was fuse 34. I don't remember exactly what it's called but it was reverse sensor something. It's a 10amp fuse and it was fine..

Good idea on mounting your light. How does it look at night? Any pics yet? Thanks in advance!

Finally got around to soldering (I like to do things right the first time ) this bad boy in today. I really prefer that everything "looks" stock for first glance which is why I didn't go with hanging off the bumper..yet.
Should find out tonight how much better it is to see out of the back of my truck/with camera.

I used JB Weld to keep it put, the photos with the zip ties were from the first two days - I used the stock "mounting bracket" to help keep it tight and secure while I drove around with it. Might not be able to tell from the last photo but I removed the nut and bracket.
