Default upgrading stx mirrors??

Hello we have a 2013 stx with power non heated mirrors. Is it possible to converted to heated towing mirrors? I'm just wondering if this is plug and play with the plugs currently on the truck. Any help much appreciated.

I have a 2010 and I did switch to tow mirrors. The plug plugs right in to the mirrors. I gained turn signals, puddle lights and if you get a new climate controller with the defrost button the heat will work.

I went with 1Aauto.com, they are a vendor in vendor section and sell mirrors cheaper than OEM that look and feel just as good as OEM.

It's a 5 min per side job.

You have to remove the interior door panels, right?

How bad is that?

Easy, 4 bolts and lift up, unplug some harnesses or let it hang. Look on YouTube for how to, very good step by step.

There are three nuts to remove for each mirror.

eBay or Tasca. It just needs to be like the stock one but with the defrost button. I've seen them $65 used up to $150 new. Just depends on how bad you want heated mirrors. I haven't wanted them that bad yet. Lol

Boom. Careful with the aftermarket mirrors, some members have had issues with the heat not working

My man!

Like I said, I didn't try the heat option but mine were all plug and play and everything works that should. I think the problem is that people install them and aren't careful and the pins get bent.
