What is that thing under your tool box, on your bed rail? I realize its to keep it off the bed rail but I'm wondering what it's made of for when I install mine.

If you end up with an aluminum box, make sure the metal on the inside is sealed somehow. I ended up painting the inside with some bed liner in a spray can. This helped a little but didn't completely solve the problem.
