Default Tailpipe

I searched the forum but found no answer. I have a 2013 Lariat with the 5.0. SCSB. I like the sound of the factory exhaust but I hate the ugly tailpipe. Is there an aftermarket company that sells a stainless tailpipe that will fit the stock muffler? If necessary I will buy the complete kit just to get the tailpipe. But it has to bolt on to stock muffler. Thanks.

dude... you drive an f150... they make anything and everything for them. Google f150 exhaust tips.. or just exhaust tips, our exhausts aren't anything special.

Why ?? your going to cut off your tail pipe and put another one on ?? what's the point ?? just put a nice tip on it... but they do sell tail pipe that clamps on..

wait what?? So you want just the tip off of your muffler and no tail pipe? Or a different shaped tail pipe?

Just go to your local upmarket muffler shop-- specify that you want stainless pipe back of the muffler. They can custom bend a pipe for your truck in just minutes, AND you can choose your tip (again specify stainless).
I've been thinking about going to my muffler shop and have them move my tip closer to the back of my mudflap on that side so that the exhaust pipe does not constantly catch the spray up from the rear tire.......

our tail pipes are welded to the mufflers. just buy a nice tip and put that on. if not an exhaust shop could do a nice custom one and weld it in.

My bad. Did not know it was welded to the muffler. Overlooked that. Tip it will be. Thanks.

The entire OEM exhaust system IS stainless steel (though not polished).

In addition to adding a MAGNAFLOW polished stainless steel tip, I routinely use Wenol to polish the tailpipe to give it a polished, satin finish.

On this completely subjective matter, I, a true hater of anything "chrome", ) opted to get some high-temp satin black spray paint and painted almost the entire tail pipe up to the muffler. It looks good on my Sterling Silver, and would good on just about any other color truck as well.

Cost me $8 Because I do agree the OEM tail pipe is a bit too ugly to leave 'as-is'.
