So ironically after posting this I stopped getting messages on my SYNC system, I unpaired the phone, re-set it up and I can verify this should fix your problem.

Big Cam, really? I did check on sync (in the truck on the phone menu) and it said my phone wasn't supported. I'll try again.

DBLX,

Thanks for verifying the software. When you re-paired the phone, did you see a message appear on the phone to give SYNC access to your messages?

I did not. When I go to BT, it only has 3 options. Messages isn't one of them

DBLX,

At the end of the pairing process, a message will appear on your phone. You won't need to go to Bluetooth or scroll through any menus, so watch your phone closely at the end of the process. For more info on this, check out this link: https://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-...html?sync=sync

I did not receive a message on my phone. I understand what you're indicating: that would be the message granting access to contact sharing, media audio, and phone audio.
That seems to be automatic now. When I go to the BT Sync connection, those 3 boxes are already checked. Nothing seen for text.

Have you performed a master reset on the truck and then pair the phone back?

I've been messing around with this problem since I got my truck a few months ago. Re-pairing isn't too much of a hassle, but I've noticed that when my texts stop showing up on the screen, I can go in an delete all the saved messages and I've had about 60% luck on it working after that. I don't know if there is a max amount of text messages it can store or not.

I also noticed that on a few occasions, I'd get in my truck and all the texts I received while the truck was parked would upload to the truck, furthering my suspicion it can only store so many texts before notifications stop.
