Default Sync

Haven't had any problems with Sync in my 2010 SCREW till yesterday. It won't recognize my Ipod when I command it to "USB" . I've tried everything I could think of to get it to work, just get a readout that says "no USB present" or something like that.
Any thoughts?

Have you tried pulling the sync fuse? It's #2 on the 11, not sure if it's the same on your 10... either way it will be listed in the manual. I've had the same problem about 3 or 4 times and pulling the fuse, waiting about 3 minutes, and putting it back in has fixed it for me each time. kind of a pain to contort yourself under the seat, but only thing I've found so far that works.

The USB voice command is used only when you have a flash drive with music pugged into the USB port. At least that's how mine works.

Yes there is an issue with the Sync system take it in have the dealer do TSB 11-6-9. I had the same issue and that fixed it as per the suggestion of other people here on the forum.

The same thing has happened to me (2 times). I am not sure how I fixed it each time (or if it fixed itself) but resetting the Ipod doesn't seem to help.

Mine started working again before I got it to the dealer. If you take it to the dealer and they fix it, please share.

Thanks for the help. I'm calling my dealer this morning. Will report when fixed.

I didn't know you could command an ipod to "USB". Are you using your phone remotely or is it connect to the USB port?
