Yeah you can command the sync to USB and it pulls the iPod. Sounds for some reason like it isnt recognizing the device. Is everything with you iPod working like it should? Have you tried connecting it to your computer to make sure the cable is still good and the iPod is functioning? I just sense the stealership saying "we cant find a problem on our end must be the iPod!"

see how dumb i am.. i didnt know those would work in the port..thought it had to be connected to another device...so.. how do i get it to work..load music...then plug it in ..then what..do i select something or will it recoginize it

Blue... once you load your music on it, just cycle through the media button or voice command "USB" and it should come right up.

got one.... 8gb ..loaded lots of music on it ...plugged it in and wham i got commercial free music all day long ..have like 600 songs on it ....its cool thanks guys for helping me learn something about my new truck
