Do you have steering wheel controls?

Nothing for radio controls on my steering wheel.

 

Look into the review mirror monitor, if that is doable you can then swap if you wanted....I remember reading a thread about adding a front camera and it being BT of wifi but not sure if it is available yet.

Perfect timing!! I got my iPad for Xmas, ordered my dash kit 2 days ago, and will hopefully have it all installed in a month. Time to re read this thread! Lol

 

have had my ipad in for week and will be doing the jailbreak tonight hoping i can get away from having to lock the screen manually when i shut the truck down.

 

IOS7 jailbreak tweaks are hit & miss right now... Activator works, but I had to load the beta version directly from the developers source. SBSettings does not work, though there are some new 'switch' type cydia tweaks that can partially take its place

 

Resurrecting this thread because I just saw my carpod app was updated to Dashbox. Anyway, so far I've been pretty impressed. The UI is totally redone and little things that make a big difference are in there, like using the app to find an address and then automagically sending it to your map program. The music player is redone and is nicely laid out. I emailed the developers and I guess it's under new ownership, they got back to me super quick and said they are trying to get the app on a development path based on user feedback. I had upgraded to the full version before the update, but I think the app is free or $0.99 or something.
