Are you running a jailbroken iPad with 'Activator'? What rules have you set up in activator? How are you connecting your iPad? To oem stereo? What version IOS?

 

Not jailbroken...the IOS is the latest 7.1.2
I will have to see if it turns off w/in 2 min as set in settings....but with the dashboard open it turn the auto lock off I think.

 

Thought I'd revive this thread a bit since I'm getting ready to do an iPad mini install. What are you guys using now? Some of the apps mentioned earlier in this thread are no longer supported, or just no longer exist.

 

I am not using any apps....not jailbroken either! all the apps I tried just confused the system and it wouldnt work right. Not using Bluetooth, jus the Sync USB port.
I use the IOS music function and it works great....for charging I just move the USB cord from the sync to the 12v power port for charging. Works great.

 

anyone got any new apps they use in there truck?
