it just came to me that i could put some lights on each end of my AMP running boards. that could look quite nice. it will be a trick hiding the wires but i'll see what i can come up with. now i have a mission!

what's the best way to tap into the aux-lighting system for my running board marker lights? which fuse? or is there a wire i can splice into?

Sorry for this crappy pic. I hope you get the idea of whats going on, but if not I can get better ones after work.

The LED strip was held on with the sticky tape, but that started to get loose so I used these paper clips to hold it on. You cant see them unless you are on the ground

There is a small lip you can see/feel on the underside so you cant really see the lights. They shine down and light up the ground pretty well, I would have to wait until tonight. if you want that pic, let me know.

I then ran the wires up the bracket and tapped into the bed lights

The grass kind kills it, it throws more light to the side when its on a flat surface.

after looking at the pic, you can see the other side lighting up the ground in the gap between the running board and body, so they light up pretty well.
