Default Red flashing light

So, I'm not sure if this little red flashing light is from the factory. I don't recall it being mentioned in the owner's manual. Anyone seen this before? And how do I stop it from flashing. Never even knew it was red until today when I picked it up from having some body work done. I should note that I'm the second owner of this 2011 EcoBoost. Had it since Oct of 2016. And this is the first time it's ever done anything

Previous owner must of had an alarm system or some other type of after market or dealer add on electronics. It did not come like that from the factory that much is certain. Perhaps it was disconnected and they plugged it back in while doing the body work.

Makes sense, they had the bed off to do the rocker panels. Could it have anything to do with the trailer hitch?

Aftermarket for sure, also agree with @16IngotFX4. Assuming you have some type of aftermarket starter or alarm.

Ok, so just find the power source and disconnect it? Only aftermarket I've done are; a tonneau cover, intake, y-pipe. And a programmer. So nothing that would interfere with the wiring.
