Default Pulling the trigger in the morning

Either placing an order or buying the one on the lot that is close to I want. The one on the lot is priced to me at $42,800 for an screw 5.5 fx4, lux package, nav and moonroof. Or for the same price ordering the same except max tow and no nav or moonroof. I know the one on the lot is a little better deal but I want the bigger mirror which comes with max tow.

I hope the mirrors are worth it, I know the moonroof will not get used that much and I have ok nav on my Ipad. I guess it depends on how I fell in the morning.

How do you like the max tow mirrors, I have only seen them on the super duty and yet to see a F150 on the lot with them.

Order one with tow pack. And nav. Be sure to get what you want so theres no Regrets, or trading in in under a yr!

Good for you. I just put in an order for a Lariat SCrew 4x4 today. The bigger mirrors are totally worth getting. Not saying their worth the max trailer tow package, but I love the big mirrors. I have them on my '08 F150 and I will have them on my '14 F150. I'm ordering the plain ones from Ford for $440. Not bad for the pair. $650 for the power folding/telescoping isn't bad considering what you're getting. I haven't had the need to fold or extend mine under power yet, so I'll just go with the manual ones with electric adjustment and heat.

And this week I've received a very educated lesson in MSRP, invoice, and hold back.

i agree...you may want to shop around just a bit more as well...may find exactly what you're looking for and potentially for less. i went out of state for mine and paid about the same as you're looking at now back in september with the appearance package, nav, etc...no tow package, but didn't need it.

These mirrors are great, no blind spots and just run them out for towing an RV. I'm very happy I went with the max tow.

2 different dealers did a search for me today on this truck, non within 600 miles radius. I thought this was strange, all I am asking for is fx4 screw, 5.5 box with 2 packages lux and max tow with the Eco. Every dealer was trying to steer me away from ordering except 1, and he had the best price. Also he just listen what I wanted and gave me my options (was not pushy at all) and told me to think about and give him a call to let him know what I want to do. So he is getting my business, they already have a good service department because that is where I take my current truck.

No chance in trading in within the year, my current truck I have had a little over 15 years...

^^^ What he said!

I'm sure they are great -- if they came on the truck -- otherwise I'm happy with my occasional-use snap-on/snap-off tow mirrors.

I have a max tow and the tow mirrors are about the only thing that I don't like about the truck. Functionality wise they're fine. They do their job but they just look out of place on the truck. I've been trying to come up with a way to get them to "stick out" less. I have this beautiful ruby red truck with these huge black mirrors that just look out of place. I've kicked around the idea of having the caps painted, having the whole mirror painted, adding the chrome caps, and adding the chrome caps while having the rest of the mirror painted.
