I'm thinking modding them in any of those ways will make them stand out more.

When test driving, I drove with the tow mirrors. I liked them a lot but yea, the esthetics threw me off of them. I will use my truck to tow my camper in the spring but I really didn't want to have those mirrors stuck to my truck forever, for the dozen times a year I'll be towing it. Then, having to worry about folding them in certain situations and I only see bad things happening if my wife would have to drive with them.

It's all personal opinion. Functionally, of course, they are better than the regular mirrors.

Sounds to me like you need to meet up with one of the members looking to GET them and swap!

Or for the same price ordering the same except max tow and no nav or moonroof. I know the one on the lot is a little better deal but I want the bigger mirror which comes with max tow.

I hope the mirrors are worth it, I know the moonroof will not get used that much and I have ok nav on my Ipad. I guess it depends on how I fell in the morning.

How do you like the max tow mirrors, I have only seen them on the super duty and yet to see a F150 on the lot with them.
And before this thread goes TOO far sideways, congrats on the new truck!

I special ordered mine without. There was one on the lot with exactly what I wanted, but it had the elephant (sorry guys) and I said no, I wanted one without. They would have taken them off and still charged me for them. Guess I could have sold them, just didn't want the hassle.
Anyway, point is I don't like them. But thats only my $0.02.

Bottom line.. to the OP.... Buy what YOU want, not what others want.

But I was an occasional tower and I thought the snapon ones were fine.

Also the regular mirrors are PTM. Tow mirrors arent.

I pull a travel trailer. Function over form lol. In my opinion dodge is the only truck maker to get tow mirrors right. They flip up and out instead of just extending. I loved the tow mirrors on my 06 ram

Congrats on the new truck!

I have the Max Tow Package on my 2014 Scab and I love the mirrors, couldn't imagine going back to the standard mirror!
