Default Power window problem

Today my drivers side window of my 2011 screw would not go down. When I pushed the button it would not do anything, no sound or movement. All of the other windows worked fine. I parked it and later walked out to try again and now it seems fine. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Lol mine did this the other day after work. It's winter and never use the window. All the other doors worked fine just the drivers. I kept hitting the button and finally started working about two minutes later. I think it got stuck I heard the motor trying. I think they have a cut off if they are over pushing. Kinda like when it auto goes up it knows it stops cuz it starts pullin a lot of voltage.

Mine does this also. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the window motor assembly, but it did it again the other day. My front passenger door has not worked once also.

Happened twice. Driver and passennger sides. Turning off and restarting seems to fix. Also the backup cam in mirror gives blue screen occasionally. Restart always fixes. Had it in for windows once, they CND'd. Said bring it back in if it became more problematic. Kinda think it may be a "boot" up issue at start up.

I'd speculate their is some crud in the switch contacts.

Especially if it's intermittent.

When the dealer looked at mine that was the first thing they checked. He said the switch was fine. I asked him about maybe a loose connection and they said they checked that also.

I'd check it myself just to verify. Especially if they don't find another problem.

If the switch has ever arc'd from poor contact, just that can cause a malfunction. The arc marks themselves can cause a poor connection.

Let us know what happens, please.

Same solution for mine. Both driver and front passenger windows have not worked. Restarting truck fixed each time.

This happened to me once on driver's side, about 750 miles since new. Only at 950 miles now, so we'll see if it happens again. Turning truck off then on fixed it, but since I was going through a drive-through it was a bit annoying!

Out of curiosity, did you press the switch quickly? If you press the switch to the 2nd detent too quickly in either direction the regulator will ignore the input...
