Default Paint problems

I have a 2009 King Ranch that I bought brand new in July 2009. After less than 3 years, the paint is falling off the leaving the metal clear and shining. Anyone else having that problem?

Did you consult with the dealer ?

My mom's 1987 Chevy van in Champaign color lost its paint and GM paid for an entire respray. 13 years later !

If its a glaring defect, they may cover it.

Whoa!! Yes!! Take it to the dealer!!! That should be covered under warranty. That is called delamination. I used to do repaints of those all the time! Very common issue for chevys in the 90's

I went to the dealer and even contacted Ford, but they wn't cover it because I am over 60,000 KM. As if milleage can have caused this. I am very disapointed at their customer service.

Uh yeah, that's bs. I have painted warranty jobs long past their expiration. I painted an '04 crown victoria not 3 months ago for the roof peeling. And they were long past the ford warranty. Yet they covered the paint job.
