Shaay,
When attempting to run the report it starts to generate the report and within a few seconds it stops and states that the report cannot be run at this time - or something to that nature. Will go out to the truck and check right now for the excat phrase.
Thanks for checking in.
Regards,
David

I am new to owning a ford F150. Always been a dodge person myself, but I couldn't pass up this deal on the Ford so i went out and got it.
I have only had this 2012 F150 XLT for three days now and yesterday I tried to do an update on my sync. I followed the instructions from www.syncmyride.com and downloaded the new update to a flash drive. When I first started the update, everything was working fine, but then i got a call and walked away from my truck for about 10 minutes. When i got back to my truck, i waited for about 10 more minutes, but i never got an installation complete other than the first one within 30 seconds of plugging in your USB (which I ignore like the instructions told me to). So after about a total of 25 to 30 mins. I decided to hit the AUX button and pull the USB out. after doing so, noting on my radio would work. Couldn't get a sound out of it. Any button i would hit would just take my back to a display that said, "phon". So, Immediately pulled my sync fuse and put it back in and all my functions for my radio and Sirius radio started to work again, but now I have no SYNC....noting!!! I push the media button on my steering wheel and nothing, I push my AUX button and it says SYNC for a second and then goes back to the previous thing, which would be my radio. I tried to reload the update through the USB, but it seems like the USB is not working because the little light on MY USB drive wont light up when i plug it in like it is supposed to do...CAN ANYONE HELP????

Welcome aboard SABRE40 -
If you read this thread from the beginning you'll get a good understanding what is going on. There is a good mix of newcomers to Ford, IT professionals and the stone head Ford Man here. Together hopefully we can convince and possibly help Ford remove the Ice pick they placed in our backs. Although it has been quite a while since this issues has surfaced. Recently it appears that there may be some hope.

FORD - You need to take this issue seriously. You are not only risking the loss of new customers, you are losing the support of the "Ford Man". The life long loyal underdogs who accepted the flaws, developed their own solutions, tolerated filthy grease in their cuts, and bought Fords because you didn't take the bailout. All for the sake of the FORD name. The loyalty is dwindling. Dealerships are now offering multiple domestic and foreign brands. You need to give us a reason to stay loyal.

Sorry, man. These are great trucks with the exception of Sync being a bag of hot garbage.

So can anyone give us a real answer to if carpal will work on sync 3 in our 2016 F-150's?
I see all these videos on youtube and all those false hope articles from ford and other car sites that it's coming in an update but that way back in Jan. What's the deal?
