New Sync Software Update, no Navigation...help
Anyone have the dealership update your sync software and then not have nav?
I have zero time to go to the dealership or schedule an appt to drop it off.
I had them do an update and now the square on the my touch system screen is a compass instead of a map. I remember it used to have a map.
Any ideas on how to fix this or is a trip to the dealership the only way to go?

Hi MTN GHOST RIDER,
It sounds like the navigation application did not load properly. I understand that time is valuable and a visit to the dealership is inconvenient; however, they are in the best position to assist. They'll have to reload the application. It's not that can be done on your own.

Is the SD card installed...?
I know it's a simple question, but when you remove the card, that's what it shows and is, just a compass.

A map does not show in that quandrant - a compass does, activate that quadrant and you get to navigation and a map.
As others say - also check the SD card.
After all of that - everything I've learned from here and owning cars for so many years - never let the dealer or anyone else touch your truck for anything you can do yourself. Some may not feel technically savvy, but updating sync is pretty straight forward if you've got a USB key and an hour.

If I take out the card, it's still just a compass,(no street names) and won't do anything when I press on the Nav quadrant.
