Never use Sync or Bluetooth.
Since I got my new 2014, I have never used Sync and haven't hooked up bluetooth to my phones. It was such a hassle with my older trucks, I just don't think it is worth it. My wife or I, whoever is not driving, answers our phones, don't even know what those Sync buttons are for.

Hey man, I completely understand where you are coming from, but it really is not too bad. Which dash do you have? The my ford touch with nav or the sync model with bluetooth? I had them both, the nav my ford touch is a bit trickier but the sync with Bluetooth model is actually pretty easy to use. Give it a chance.

Nope. Bluetooth is the best thing about Sync. I had no problems figuring out how to stream music from my phone and do phone calls.
Now the voice command BS, that's one thing I'll never mess with.

I use the bluetooth to answer phone calls all the time. I love it.
Where sync falls short is the voice commands. It can be frustrating but I have learned what I can and shouldnt try to do with it.

Blue tooth on my '12 totally sucks. So much background noise, who ever I'm talking to gets annoyed, so I just use my hands free headpiece. Voice commands are even more of a joke. The best thing about Sync is the Sirius radio.
