I have a 2012 FX4 and have the lip moldings and no issues for install. If you try to order off weather techs website it will only let you order the rears if you specify you have running boards. You can put front and rears on with no issues if you have fender flare lip moldings and running boards. Just specify you don't have running boards to order the fronts.

 

How well do the flaps match the black lip molding of a 2012 FX4?

 

My lip moldings are color matched to truck, sterling gray. They blend right into the truck and you don't even notice them.

 

The lip moldings on FX4's arent color matched though

 

Uh yea they are. They are on mine at least.
