Was the rear differential locker available only on the FX4 on the 09-14 f150's? If it was available on other models, how do you know if the truck has it? Does it say it on the 4x4 ****? Thanks!

 

I believe it was available as an option on XLT's and up. I believe it uses the same **** as 4wd you just pull it out like the fog lights.

 

Just check your axle code on the door sticker, and it'll tell you what it left the factory with.

 

I know it was standard on Fx4 model trucks.

 

I have it on my 14 XLT. Used it today on a damn steep wet curvy driveway.

 

I know my FX2 does, but not all of them or the FX4's I looked at did.

 

**** has a symbol under it of front axle turning and rear axle with an X in it. Pull ****, it lights up, and message appears on display. Shows it in the manual, all are online on the Ford site. See page 109 of the 2013 manual. I got it on my XLT.

 

Have it on my 2012 2wd Lariat.

 

My chrome pkg xlt has it. I imagine all trims can have it.

 

I believe it's XLT and up as previously stated, starting in 2011.
