I think it is an optional add on for at least the XLTs. My 2011 XLT did not have one, and both my 2014 XLT and my friends have it. When I was looking to upgrade to the 14 I saw plenty of models that did not have the locker. Sadly my budget did not allow me to get into the FX4 or Lariat market, so can't say if it is a stock feature at higher trim levels.

As others pointed you, you can see if it has the locker on the shift ****. The **** will pull out to engage, and push in to disengage.

According to a quick peak at the brochure, it started in 2012 and was optional on XL up (but limited in engines) and standard in FX2/4. In 2011 all they listed was an optional limited slip.

It was also only operable in 4x4 the first couple years. Then in 2 in 2013.

E-Locker was standard on the 2010 FX4's. I would assume it would also be standard 2011 on up also, not sure on the 2009.

my 2013 XLT 4x4 OFF-ROAD has it. my brothers 13 xlt 4x4 doesnt along with my boss's '10 4x4. My friend's 14 4x4 off road has it. All the "off road" packages have it standard (4x4 off road and fx4 off road). My father in law's 13 or 14 Lariat 2x4 has it. He has a pretty loaded lariat so im sure it can be added to any "non off road" package but doesnt come standard

my 2011 XLT with off-road package has it, my buddies with no off-road package doesn't. Unfortunately I can only turn mine on in 4WD not 2WD and it turns off @ 25mph.
