Default Leveling kit

I just got a 2" strut spacer for my 13 f150. Will I need to purchase anything else before I install this? Just want to make sure I do everything right.

The only other items I have seen people buy when they add strut spacers is the upper control arms.

Adding a strut spacer is not doing it right... it’s doing it cheap ! you will need an alignment after.

I have a two inch leveling spacer on mine. Just have it aligned afterwards.
Had it on for a very long time and no issues.
Post a link to what you bought?

Have had spacers, 3 different sizes, on 2 different trucks, including this one. Never had a problem.
Don't know what brand you have, but you should have gotten studs, cap screws, or something to fasten the spacer to your existing tophat, and new nuts to attach to the mount.
Ya, like SCORGE asked, please give a link and we can help you further. Don't be afraid to ask any questions about the install, it's not a bad job at all, but can look intimidating if you don't wrench a lot.
There are a couple tricks, and a couple don'ts. Some of those Utube videos are so far out. One don't is, do not loosen up your lower or upper control arms, no reason to. You also do not have to remove the caliper or rotor either.
It is best to remove the spindle nut, and pull the IWE out to gain all the room you need. I can walk you thru how to align the teeth without a vacuum pump. And, don't just tighten the spindle nut, use a torque wrench, 30ft/lb, and do it the right way.

You made it seem like spacers were bad. You didn’t even mention other options for the OP.

Like the other guy said. Regardless of only a spacer or a strut that’s been adjusted, you will need an alignment afterwards.

The OP asked what else would he need... I told him an alignment... never said spacers were bad.. i run a set. I said it’s not the correct way you should level.. it’s a cheap way.. not the best way. Remember.. he said he wanted to do everything right !
