Default Leveling Kit

Looking for recommendations for a leveling kit for my 2014 F150 Platinum 4x4. I want to run 275 65 20 tires. Had a Rough Country kit on my 2011 and was happy. They offer 2 kits and I'm not sure which to get. I'm open for recommendations. Thanks

I have the same truck as you and I'm running that exact size tire (essentially a 34" x 11") in a Good Year Duratrac. Ultimately, I went with the RC 2.5" leveling kit and stacking a 1" rear block to maintain a slight rake (i.e. I wanted the rear to sit a tad higher than front).

I'm very happy with the outcome; looks better than the 4" and 6" lifts I've had on previous trucks, because it's a balanced look. Some people say that a leveling kit will only have you wanting a higher lift and I disagree, because my tires are nearly 35s (look as tall as the 35s on my Jeep) and they match the size of the truck. Bigger lifts often make even 35s look scrawny and leave big gaps in the wheel well.

Honestly, most all the kits are same/same ... you can get 1.5", 2", 2.5" ... and in some cases you can get 3". People are running everything from high-strength polymer spacers to machined billet aluminum to powder-coated steel. What it really comes down to is, which size do you want, do they make one for YOUR model/year truck, and do you have a preference for a given material.

I chose to go with AutoSpring's 1.5" kit and couldn't be happier. Price, service, quality - all A+ ... I'd highly recommend Autospring to anyone ... and if you feel the need to have a chat w/ them, just call Kevin (owner) ... he's more than happy to talk to you about what he's got, and help you figure out just what you need.

Auto Spring 2" Level. They by far have the best level spacers in my opinion and i have done alot of lift/level kits on trucks. Every truck has a different amount of rake due to the front coils thats why Auto Spring makes a 1.5", 2", and 2.5" for our trucks. Mine had 2.5" of rake. I netted 2.25" of lift with the 2" kit leaving 1/4" of rake. Measure from the ground to the center of your wheel wells in the front and back on level ground and take the difference. The reason i went with the 2" even though mine had 2.5" is that i did not want to take a chance on having my truck sit *** low.

Stay away from spacers!!!! They put too much strain on front end parts! Go for the Bilstein 5100 ride height adjustable coil overs I promise you will not regret that decision

LMAO .... spacers do no more than longer struts do in terms of "strain" ... they only offer a better ride and handling.

they are not longer! Look them up! And they are on my 2014 and work perfect! Also I had spacers on mine and caused my control arms to hit my springs every time at full lock
